Onze helft, dus 6 van de 12 appartementen, van onze blok is nu bijna af in ruwbouw. De gevelsteen staat er, het voegwerk is voor later. Het dak zal nog tegen het bouwverlof afgewerkt worden met isolatie en roofing. Volgens de planning zullen tegen dan ook de ramen er in staan.
Het lichtplan zijn we nog op een paar details aan het twijfelen en nog op zoek naar de juiste oplossing, met name de orientatieverlichting en gebruik van led-spots ipv halogeen in de leefruimte. Een zeer informatieve website ivm led verlichting is http://www.olino.org/ov/lampen.
Voor de leefruimte, tv-kamer en slaapkamer is er parket voorzien en we zouden initiëel een tegelvloer in de overige ruimtes leggen (hal, wc, keuken, berging en badkamer), maar we hebben ondertussen een andere beslissing genomen: een troffelvloer. Dit is een vloer van fijne kwarts-steenkorrels dat met de hand wordt uitgestreken en hierbovenop komt een transparante laag exoxy. Resultaat is een zeer sterke vloer met het relief vergelijkbaar met een appelsienschil. Deze vloer is antislip en zeer onderhoudsvriendelijk.

Our half, 6 out of 12 apartments, of our apartment block is nearly finished rgarding the carcase work. The facing bricks are put in place and the clearances will follow later on. The roof will be finished by the constuction holidays with isolation and roofing. They will also place the windows if all goes well.
We're still in doubt of some details of our light-plan and are looking for the right solution, mainly regarding the orientation lights and the use of led-lichts in living space instead of halogen spots. A good informative website is http://www.olino.org/ov/lampen.
For the living space, tv-room and bedroom we've already ordered parquet flooring. For the other rooms (hall, toilet, kitchen, storage room and bathroom) we had choosen to go with tiled floors, but we've now made another choise: a trowelled mortar floor. This is a floor made of fine quartz-stone particles that are spread out by hand and the receives a top coat in a transparent mat epoxy finish. The result is a very strong floor with the feeling of a orange peel. This floor is non-slip and very maintenance-friendly.
